I finally ended my F1 job(crowd control-cisco) TODAY! it's too much to type every detail so i'll just cut the story short! :P it's a totally interesting experience (wearing "security" uniform) it totally don't suit me.
since there's my two other friend who accompany during my working period, it's not so bad. it's not as difficult as i expected. it's a very simple job which doesn't require to use much of your brain cells( save it for exams). all i need to do is to sit and wait till a car stop and ask for directions of the car park. but it's quite dumb too since there's signs everywhere and the drivers still can ask the obvious. Amanda:" how they pass their driving license one?!" .
advantages are 2 main meals provided and 1 tea break, they give you break once in a while, the people there are pretty nice( APOs, POs, ICs). disadvantage of this job is that the car park is super stuffy and hot! you can't help fanning and drinking tonnes of water , and the uniform is SUPER UGLY can!
OH! also we gave nicknames to almost everyone :D
IC low (low) & Fiona (high)
Michael(buae) & bernerd(song) together is buae song!
Jonas (short) & jia wen (tall)
IC kai xuan(Gerard look alike)
we also have weird uncle:( & uncle tan:)
2 APOs so one is OLD APO & the other YOUNG APO.
gang & ster = gangster from traffic division( we don't know their real name...just happen to make fren during lunch)
these nicks really spice up the life there!
well... a few of the interesting events;
1. a PO(same rank as us) want to fight with the IC( one rank higher) when we were about to sign out from work.
i don't know how the fight started cause me Amanda and yanting were talking. the next moment we heard them saying:
IC: bu suan isit?!
PO: what you wanna fight isit?!fight fight la! i scare you ah!
IC: I'll report you! then you no need come back!
PO: report la! i scare you ah!
(silence) fight ended. probably everyone was tired since we just ended work and preparing to leave the car park so their temper wasn't so good.
2. misuse of walkie talkie!
teeli: Amanda i've no unlimited sms like you so we use walkie talkie talk. talk at channel 5.
(so we talk talk talk all crap with yanting also and then suddenly, only i heard some one else seems to be using the same channel. )
teeli: i think someone using same channel how?
amanda & y.t : we dint hear anything!
the "someone": stop playing!
(we was so scared so we stop)
hours later~i went back to that channel and heard 2 boys talking. and then we knew we had been fooled! so irritating. so we switch to another channel to talk. then now when we thought we were safe, the APO caught me talking in that channel and he first eavedrop our convo then joined in the convo! and so no privacy again! but the worst thing is that after that I get caught by the IC -.- sians to the max!
IC: what are you doing?! playing ah. i know you amanda and yanting using this to talk. better stop playing and switch back to channel 1. i very nice didn't report you. so better switch back.
3. don & drew
i was so bored the next few days so i turn to the channel 5 to listen what that same 2 guys were talking about. they talk non stop like some radio DJ except they are talking rubbish. so me and amanda called them dawn & drew.LOL! so we were quite curious to find out who are they and so we list our suspects...first( short and tall) but fiona said they use channel 3 so OUT! next is gang+ster. so yeah. should be them.
so today they used channel 6..i disturb them by cutting off their convo.
gang: i think someone is checking on us
ster: yeah keep on getting cut off
gang: we switch to channel 5
so i just keep on cutting off till they gave up talking. hahaahha! revenge!
4. ME having HEART PROBLEMS(by Amanda)?!
I was sitting talking to Amanda behind a pillar in the car park during work and suddenly i felt a hand tap on my shoulder from behind the pillar! I JUMPED! and breathed heavily
teeli: who's that?! the pillar have hands!
Amanda gave me a ??? look
young APO came out of the back of the pillar: you ok?
Amanda: she have heart problems can't take this sort of shock!
young APO: really ah? teeli you really have heart problems ah?
teeli: really! i think i need to have break till i end work!
young APO: chey !
but the next day
he asked me again: you really have heart problems ah?
teeli: yeah and now i'm going to have gastric too!
young APO: you haven't have lunch?
tL: yeah!
young APO: ok you go eat i relief you
teeli's mind: HA! get to eat finally!
[AMANDA IS A GREAT ACTRESS
She bluffs the APO that she has a heart condition why?
(Cause he just loves to scare us from the back)
So APO believes and from then on I get the special treatment
The next day he asked me about the heart condition. Amanda being a very quick witted girl, she reminded him again and I give that I am going to die look! So after a while he gets back to me and asks if I’m alright, I gave this I’m dying face and I get to go for lunch! ]~Amanda's version(she ask me to type this, a lot of praising words for her)LOL!
5. IRIS visited me today (:
IC was reliefing me today when he overheard me talking on the phone ( iris don't know how to come in)
IC: who is it, need me to fetch
me: my friend
IC: your friend ah? 我不想去le. later get scolding!
so i had to waste so much time to direct iris the way in, irritating should have use amanda's idea~( it's my mother friend coming to take her car!)
yeah so iris reach and then the old APO start talking to her as well...LOL!
haix...not funny leh typing it down...funnier when it's live! haha. anyways enjoyed myself pretty well and gain pretty interesting experience. easy money i would say! :DLabels: F1 rocks
